Delete your Halo account

For the app “Halo - your last Book Tracker”, on Google Play and the App Store.

In the app

1. Open the Moi (Me) tab, then Réglages (Settings).
2. Under Compte (Account), tap Supprimer mon compte (Delete my account), then Supprimer définitivement (Delete permanently).
3. If you signed in with Google or Apple, confirm that it's you.

By email

Write to support@readhalo.app from the email address of your Google or Apple account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm by email once it's done. If you never signed in with Google or Apple, your account has no email address: delete it in the app.

What is deleted

Your account and all the data linked to it (books, reading sessions, notes, memories, captures and their text), on our servers and on your phone. Only anonymized data that helps improve the app, such as statistics or captures, may remain: it can no longer identify you. Some technical records, such as our server logs and backups, are kept for at most 90 days, for security, then deleted. Deleting the app does not delete your account.
